Vertical Coal Mill
Vertical coal mill is the newest grinding machine of vertical mill professional manufacturer-sbm, which is designed specially to solve the problems of low capacity and high consumption of traditional industry mills. With a decade of years’ research of mills, our vertical mill is designed and manufactured based on advanced design idea, and integrates the advanced international technology and years of mill-producing experience. Vertical coal mill adopts reliable structure and reasonable process flow; it is ideal equipment that integrated with drying, milling, classifier, and elevator. Especially, this Vertical coal mill can fully meets the requirement of clients in the high production of powder and its main technical and economy indicator reaches the international level.
Vertical coal mill application
Vertical coal mill are mainly applied to proceed the powder crushing manufacturing of the materials such as calcite, limestone, light dry stone coal, barite, fluorite, glaze, slag, wollastonite, kaolin, vermiculite, mica, feldspar, brucite, spores, potassium salt slag, garnet , quartz, etc. And the Vertical coal mill can also be used to the non-metal mining areas with the Mohs hardness of less than 7degree ,such as mining metallurgy, chemical industry, electronics, medicine, food, daily chemical, agricultural, building ,and so on.
Vertical coal mill used at coal fired power plant
In coal fired power plant, coal mill is used to grind, pulverize and dry coal before the coal is transmitted the boiler. The coal is feed into the vertical coal mill via a inlet pipe so that the roller coal mill such as Raymond mill and vertical coal mill can pulverize the coal into particles.
The hot air in the vertical coal mill will lift the coal particles out of the Raymond mill or vertical mill and into the boiler, if the coal particles are too heavy they will drop to the bottom of the coal mill too and will be grind, pulverize again.
The coal flow into the boiler is an important factor for a coal fired power plant. But in fact, it is not easy to measure the coal flow from the vertical coal mill to the furnace. The coal flow out of the coal mill is often estimated based on the incoming coal flow.
